Quick Reminders: Drop-off. Parents -- please drop off ONLY on Altura Avenue in the designated drop-off lane, inside the orange cones. Crosswalks. Please try to cross the streets when the crossing guard is also stopping traffic for our students and families. This will help ease the traffic situation around drop-off and pick-up time. Welcome Back! The Lincoln PTA would like to welcome back all returning families, as well as new Lincoln families, to the 2008-2009 school year. The PTA is looking forward to a fantastic year that will include fun activities, special events, assemblies, fundraising and much more.
All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend PTA meetings, which are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm in the Lincoln Auditorium. Come on out and get involved!
Back-to-School Night Mark your calendars for Wed., Sept. 17, for Back-to-School Night at Lincoln. This night provides a great opportunity for parents to meet the teachers and find out what your children will be working on this year. Parents of kindergarteners and 4th, 5th and 6th graders should plan on attending 6:30 - 7:10 pm and parents of 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders from 7:30 - 8:10 pm.
Look for more information in upcoming Thursday folders, and remember that this is a parents-only night -- children should not attend.
School Supplies for 08-09 Due to continued budget constraints, Lincoln Elementary requests that each student bring to school selected classroom supplies to help enhance the learning experience. Remember that these supplies are requested -- if you are unable to find any items on the list, or if purchase of these supplies creates a hardship, please do not be concerned. Thank you for your continued support.
