6th Grade

Help Your Friendly Neighborhood 6th grader!

Each year, Lincoln's 6th grade class committee works hard to raise funds to cover expenses for 6th grade camp, promotion, activities, their class donation to the school and more. All proceeds from their fundraising efforts go toward meeting these goals. Please help support the 6th grade fundraising efforts.  If you would like to help ensure that the Class of 2011has an unforgettable final year at Lincoln, please volunteer to help the committee. For ways you can help, email  Tracy  Prehn tmjk91214@yahoo.com  818  or Kathy Ranek kathytranek@yahoo.com 818 653-5667  for more information.

 Grade Only Events

It's a right of passage, 6th Grade Only - social events. We want our kids to have a strong bond of friendship in Lincoln so that when they move on to the giant Middle School Campus, they have familiar faces that make them feel comfortable.

6th Grade Promotion

6/16
Reminder to the 6th grade
A handout went out in April reminding you of our promotion on June 16, 2010. This is an exciting time for 6th grade students but we must keep in mind that this is a promotion to Middle School, and not a Graduation, and we must keep a proper perspective.

With that in mind; We would like all to honor the dress code of looking nice, but not overdone. For the young men, slacks or nice pants, a dress shirt, ties optional, dress shoes or clean tennis shoes. No need for a tux. For the ladies; dress, skirt or pant suit, short or long sleeved blouse, appropriate shoes (not high heels especially over 2 inches), and no make-up.

The event is in the auditorium, starting at 9 a.m. This is really a nice event. It always has been that type of event at Lincoln. Cat calls, yelling when the student's name is called, and other types of disruption is not encouraged. I am speaking of the adults! Seating is limited to two (2) people. You decide who comes, but only two. No siblings are to be checked out of their classes. I look forward to seeing you there. Thank you for your understanding.
